What we collect and why

Contact and support form

When you send the form we store the name, e-mail address, optional company and phone number, topic and message you enter, together with the time of submission. We use them only to answer your request and to keep a record of our correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).

E-mail

If you write to us by e-mail, we process your address and the content of your message for the same purpose.

Server logs

When you visit the site, our server records technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser's user agent. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).

No tracking

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it loads no content from third-party servers: fonts and all other files are served from our own server in the EU.

Who processes the data for us

We do not sell personal data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Messages from the form and by e-mail are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and are deleted no later than 24 months after our last exchange, unless we need them longer for a legal obligation or to establish or defend legal claims. Server logs are kept for a few weeks.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your personal data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@kvcache.lv; we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).
